The decor was open, sophisticated, southern, very much a New Orleans vibe. We had the pleasure of being helped by the manager “D” and he was attentive, our drinks were always filled and he helped us choose great appetizers and entrees. The food was so good I couldn’t make it to dessert. I can’t wait to come back so I can try something new. I got MOMAS meatloaf, a friend got the deep fried ribs and another got the fried catfish. We also got cornbread and fried green tomatoes, and there was very little left when we were done. I would absolutely come back. you’re not only paying for the food you’re paying for the experience. What a find and Louisville, you need to make sure you visit this great restaurant. Enjoy it! The food was amazing, and Dee our server was the Best!! Our party of 5 split 3 different appetizers and then order a few dinners. The Burnt ends, fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms were soooo good! The chicken and waffle dinners were fab!! And those waffles were the Best I have had anywhere!!! Next trip, we will definitely be having a meal here and hoping that Dee will be working ! ”
“ By the time I'd arrived in Louisville, it had been a couple of weeks since my last plate of grits. So, I decided to look for some for dinner. I found this place on the map and decided to give the shrimp and grits a try. Delicious! Amazing! The andouille sauce was spicy and creamy and perfect. The grits were the perfect consistency for a southern boy, and the shrimp were plump and delectable. Also had the fried mushrooms, and they were served hot and with no oil in the bowl. I thought they were air fried. D was a great server, who also makes the aforementioned sauce. Family owned, and you can tell they enjoy working with each other. They've studied how to do what they do, and they do it well. Drop a pin here and save this one for future visits to Louisville, KY! ”
